NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J., Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — In early October, two industry leaders — AHM and Cvent — came together with a select group of customers to review the companies’ joint offering to better manage the compliance requirements for meetings and events in the Life Sciences Industry. The focus group reviewed the AHM product roadmap and discussed the company’s plans to provide an integrated solution between AHM’s CentrisDirect compliance platform and Cvent’s market-leading event management software.
As the need to ensure that HCP interactions are conducted in a compliant manner increases, Life Science companies face a growing number of challenges which include:

  • Rapidly expanding global compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Numerous disparate IT systems and service providers creating a complex integration process
  • Prohibitive and non-sustainable cost and support infrastructure needs

The key theme from the focus group was clear — Compliance, Procurement, IT and Meeting and Event Management Services teams are collectively seeking solutions that will simplify, consolidate and reduce the cost of managing HCP interactions. The integration of Cvent’s Enterprise Solution offering with AHM’s CentrisDirect compliance platform provides such a solution and assures that compliance rules can be applied consistently across global markets.
“As compliance obligations and strategic meetings management programs mature within Life Sciences organizations, our customers are asking for a more streamlined method of operating,” said Lisa Keilty, AHM Global VP of Compliance and Strategic Solutions. “The AHM and Cvent alignment drives process efficiencies, lowers costs and complexity, and reduces compliance risks throughout our clients’ organizations. We believe that by linking and leveraging the complementary strengths of our solutions, services and subject matter expertise it enables a material advancement in ensuring compliance needs are fulfilled.
