AHM delivers CentrisConnectTM as a single resource center portal to streamline compliant interactions between Healthcare Professionals and Life Science Companies

New Providence, NJ, October 9, 2014– AHM, today announced the release of CentrisConnectTM, a cloud-based portal solution designed to streamline compliant interactions between life science companies and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Organizations (HCOs). CentrisConnectTM acts as a one-stop-shop resource center by consolidating disparate sources of interaction information into a single portal that can be accessed via the web – across any device. As a result, life science companies and HCPs are able to share information and communicate in a compliant manner.
“Today, life science companies interact with HCPs and HCOs in many different ways as part of their business process that may result in a transfer of value”, said Senthil Namasivayam, VP Global Solutions Management at AHM. “These interactions are often required to go through a number of business and compliance processes in order to comply with corporate policies and procedures, industry guidelines and/or local/federal regulations. In cases like fee-for-service engagements, such as speaker programs, consulting and advisory boards, processes often require HCP involvement. In other cases, the HCP may be notified or provided with information such as spend pre-disclosure to follow a company’s approach to regulatory reporting such as Sunshine, EFPIA, and data privacy requirements. These various interaction points can often present challenges for life science companies who are looking to centralize and streamline interactions to enable compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer service.”
CentrisConnectTM leverages AHM’s leading-edge compliance platform, CentrisDirectTM; offering a robust configuration of business rules and associated business processes to empower life science companies to tailor CentrisConnectTM to their organizational needs.
Key Product Features:

  • Seamlessly Integrates with CentrisEventsTM for speaker bureau and event management
  • Responsive Device/Browser Agnostic User Interface
  • Profile View and Updates
  • Consents
  • Program Details
  • eContracting
  • Training
  • Slide Management (Content Library)
  • Event Management Logistics
  • Pre-disclosure Reporting
  • Payment & Expense Reporting and Payment Tracking

AHM has been providing HCP portal solutions to its clients for many years, and CentrisConnectTM is the next generation solution. “In addition to a robust suite of enhanced functionality, CentrisConnectTM takes advantage of the benefits afforded by our new CentrisDirectTM platform such as global scalability and deployment advantages, an improved and intuitive user interface that is mobile friendly, and the flexibility offered by robust configuration management that adapts well to the changing landscape of regulation and policies”, said Namasivayam.
“Today the health care industry faces intensifying policy and regulation causing life science companies to implement necessary controls to effectively manage and monitor their interactions with HCPs,” said Nigel Whitehead, AHM CEO. “It is important that any HCP interaction with financial components are not only carefully monitored and controlled to meet compliance requirements, but provide information that is consolidated, reliable, easily accessible, and results in a positive customer experience”.
CentrisConnectTM is available now and has received significant interest from the market with implementations currently under way and others scheduled for 2015.

AHM Announces CentrisDirectTM, a Global Solution to Manage Compliant Interactions with Healthcare Professionals and Organizations for the Life Sciences Industry.

New Providence, NJ, April 3, 2014 – AHM, a leading provider of solutions designed to manage compliant interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Organizations (HCOs) for the life sciences industry, has announced the immediate availability of CentrisDirectTM.

AHM’s CentrisDirectTM is designed to address the challenges that continue to evolve for life science companies that are expected to manage compliant interactions in order to meet global and regional regulatory and transparency reporting requirements.

In today’s landscape, critical information about interactions with HCPs and HCOs taking place across global markets, often resides in multiple, disparate systems, following inconsistent business rules. There are many compliance risks with this approach including the lack of standardized business processes, difficulty in the consolidation of data, and data accuracy to achieve reporting requirements. These interactions need to be delivered and monitored in a consistent, proactive and accurate manner allowing life science companies to achieve transparency for both internal and external reporting obligations.

“We continue to focus on developing solutions to support our clients’ evolving needs in the management of HCP interactions. CentrisDirectTM provides them with the ability to deploy a global platform with the flexibility to support multiple interaction types and disparate regional business requirements, consolidate legacy applications and reduce total cost of ownership”, commented Nigel Whitehead, AHM’s CEO.

CentrisDirectTM is powered by the industry’s leading platform as-a-service architecture and offers the flexibility and global deployment capability critical to support today’s life science compliance needs. Combined with AHM’s 14 years of experience managing HCP interactions for the world’s top life science companies, CentrisDirectTM offers intuitive usability and proactive compliance through configurable business rules and workflows, on a platform that helps achieve a lower total cost of ownership.

“CentrisDirectTM enables the collection and consolidation of all HCP interactions in a centralized and repeatable manner delivering a full lifecycle workflow to enable compliant choices and outcomes for all stakeholders associated with the interaction” said Susan Hill, SVP Business Development. “It’s a robust and comprehensive solution that manages a multitude of interaction types including; speaker engagements, consulting services, authorship services, grants and clinical services”, said Hill.

AHM published their solution roadmap in the Fall of 2013 and remains on schedule to release additional functionality in 2014. CentrisDirectTM will be featured at the upcoming AHM Industry Conference being held June 10-11, 2014 in the U.S.

AHM’s mRegistrar App for iPad Sees Rapid Uptake as Life Science Companies React to Increasing Compliance Requirements

New Providence, NJ, March 20, 2014 – At this year’s CBI Speaker Programs Life Sciences Summit in February AHM showcased the availability of its mRegistrar iPad App to attendees representing Life Science companies across sales and marketing, commercial operations, and compliance.

mRegistrar is designed to address the complex challenge of collecting, consolidating and reporting accurate “transfer of value” interactions data associated with healthcare professionals’ participation at speaker-led events. “Traditionally, attendance tracking has been performed using paper sign-in sheets circulated during the program”, said Robert Frey, AHM’s SVP of Account Management, who presented at the conference. “The information is then re-entered into a tracking system in preparation for reporting. Due to the manual nature of this process, opportunities exist for errors in the transition from the paper-based sign-in sheet to the tracking system. Given the public disclosure of this information, little tolerance exists for errors”, said Frey.

mRegistrar automates the end-to-end workflow for speaker program registration including RSVP management, attendee signature capture, food and beverage payments, and financial close out including receipt capture via the iPad camera – all in an intuitive application designed to maximize the user experience.

Currently AHM has two customers using the mRegistrar app with several more deployments planned in 2014. “The feedback from our customers has been very positive and demonstrates that mobility solutions can be critical tools to assist in meeting compliance requirements while providing field users with solutions to be more efficient in their jobs. “We’re receiving positive feedback from sales field users, home office, and healthcare professionals alike”, said Susan Hill, AHM’s SVP of Business Development.

mRegistrar is available on AHM’s market leading PFX™ platform with a further module being released by mid-year. AHM will be showcasing its mobile solution suite across a series of US regional road show events in April. To learn more visit www.ahmdirect.com/events.

AHM was also recently named to the InfoWeek 500 for its innovation in mobile solutions for the Life Sciences.

New Providence, NJ, February 27, 2014 – AHM, a leading global provider of managing compliant interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations for the life sciences industry, completed its first European Focus group in London, UK on Wednesday, February 19, 2014.

The focus group titled “Solutions for Managing Compliant Healthcare Professional Spend Interactions in the European Market” brought together a group of life sciences professionals from across Europe involved in the management of transfer of value interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations; an area that is facing increased global scrutiny and regulatory attention. With EFPIA reporting immanent, life science companies are facing increased legislation that is being enforced at local, regional, and global levels and are expected to comply with the requirements of reporting on all spend interactions with both healthcare professionals and organizations.

The focus group, facilitated by industry experts, prompted delegates to engage in meaningful discussion with their peers and market experts, in order to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with meeting the evolving demands of transparency reporting requirements in the European market.

The streamlined agenda was designed to make best use of the delegate’s time by focusing on 5 key topic areas with each session facilitated by a different expert. Sessions commenced with a brief overview of the landscape and was immediately followed by a group discussion leaving the majority of time available for the delegates to deep dive into each topic. Topics included: Master Data Management and Data Integration Challenges; Data Privacy – Considerations in a Disclosure Environment; EFPIA Update; Disclosure Support; and Cross Border Engagements.

“The inaugural meeting of the AHM Forum in London brought together industry and thought leaders from across Europe to discuss the impact of the new EFPIA regulations on the capture and reporting of transfer of value from the pharmaceutical industry to Health Care Professionals. The goal of sharing, understanding and planning for the EFPIA challenge was achieved, with many of the delegates commenting on how valuable the sessions were, giving them the opportunity to meet with their peers, validate their own plans and identify additional measures to make their company’s EFPIA Reporting projects a success. Overall a great success and no doubt the start of a valuable collaboration between AHM and the Pharmaceutical industry across Europe”; commented Roger Beedles, AHMs Vice President Business Development – Europe.

AHM will be holding a Focus Group event in China in May and holding a spring Industry Conference in the U.S. June 2014. Learn more about upcoming focus group events by visiting AHMs website at www.ahmdirect.com or sending an email to info@ahmdirect.com.
